Commercial Bay has been transformed into a native grove this month thanks to an immersive installation celebrating Spring.
Inspired by growth and new beginnings, the collaboration between creative director Kayla Jurlina and creative landscapers Natural Habitats sees a man-made ‘native grove’ take over our Wheriko Laneway.
Sculptural grassy knolls carpet the ground and a selection of natives and fruit trees, varying in height, herald the beginning of the new season.
A triumph of change, a new landscape is invented at a time when people need to be transported from the ordinary. A living reminder to celebrate everything that makes life a little more beautiful and exciting.
Beyond the main installation, Spring’s spirit of renewal can be felt across the rest of Commercial Bay. From fresh fruit baskets and carefully placed pot plants, to specifically styled and curated display cases, small moments of wonder can be found at every turn.
Celebrating the occasion, Commercial Bay’s Spring Market Weekend will take place on 26th and 27th of September, giving customers an opportunity to shop exclusive retail offers, win interactive giveaways, experience live music and immersive activations in the spirit of a Spring carnival.
A reflection of this vitality is found in the precinct’s Spring campaign - an effortless combination of style and colour that showcases this season’s most covetable bright new things.
With the day’s getting longer and the installation in place, Commercial Bay becomes a space to embrace the new season’s fresh perspectives and the possibilities that bloom at this special time of year.
