Special Menus at Commercial Bay

For one month only, Auckland’s top restaurants are offering special menus that celebrate bold flavour, seasonal creativity, and exceptional value. Whether you’re after a quick weekday lunch or a long dinner with friends, there’s something on the table for everyone. These are the dishes worth making plans for this Restaurant Month.

Ghost Donkey — $30

Three courses + a frozen margarita? Done.

Corn chips and chicharrones to start, your choice of a hearty Mexican bowl for the main, churros or ice cream for dessert — and a frozen margarita to tie it all together. This is weekday dining made fun (and easy).

One Queen Dining | Lunch & Dinner | $30pp

Origine — $45

Refined French bistro energy at a price that feels almost too good.

Start with organic duck liver parfait, followed by braised Lumina lamb shoulder, then finish with their signature chocolate mousse served table-side. Optional wine pairings and wood-fired veg for extra flair.

Level 2 | Lunch & Dinner | $45pp

Loco Bros — $45

Taco tasting plates, chilaquiles and zero regrets.

Start with four tacos (beef, chicken, pork, fish or vege), then dig into chilaquiles topped with a fried egg and house-made salsas. Bold, fresh, and ready for repeat visits.

Harbour Eats | Lunch & Dinner | $45pp

Kome Sake Bar — $45

Aburi sushi and super ramen, served sharing-style.

Kick off with salmon and beef aburi sushi, then settle into a warming tonkotsu ramen. For the hungry or curious, add karaage and sake pairings to take it up a notch.

One Queen Dining | Dinner Only | $45pp

Kai Eatery — $45

XL fried chicken and bao buns, with a drink to match.

Crunchy, golden, and unapologetically indulgent — this two-course menu features their signature chicken plus a Hei Hei Bao Bun and pink hibiscus lemonade to wash it all down.

Harbour Eats | Lunch & Dinner | $45pp

Cāntīng — $45

Truffle dumplings, BBQ duck pancakes and a wine pairing that’s worth it.

Start with black truffle mushroom dumplings, followed by Cantonese-style duck with pancakes. Optional dessert? A baked pineapple sugar bun with anise custard and passionfruit.

Level 1 | Lunch & Dinner | $45pp

Burger Burger — $45

Burgers, broccoli and prosecco — the holy trinity.

Pick your burger (or salad), add charred broccoli or potato skins, and round things off with mini donuts. Comes with a glass of bubbles.

Queens Rooftop — $65

Cannoli, caviar, paua pasta — rooftop views included.

A refined two-course dinner featuring kina custard cannoli and hand-rolled paua spaghetti. Pair with a pomegranate gin cocktail and watch the sun go down.

Level 21 | Dinner Only | $65pp

Reign & Pour — $55

Sharing-style comfort with a fiery twist.

Three starters, your pick of three mains (including their cult-favourite beef lasagne), and a glass of wine to complete the scene. Best shared with someone who orders differently.

Ground Floor | Lunch & Dinner | $55pp

Gochu — $55

Every dish is a hit, and you don’t have to choose.

A generous sharing menu stacked with house favourites: pork belly with apple mustard, crispy potato with kimchi sour cream, and their signature Choco Pie to finish.

Advieh — $55–$89

Soulful, spice-driven, and totally transportive.

Level 1 | Lunch & Dinner | $55 / $89pp

Ahi — $89

A feast that champions New Zealand provenance with global finesse.

Scampi corn dogs, shaved kingfish, wild-shot red deer or coastal lamb, and a nostalgic rose-and-mandarin ice block to close. Elevated, unexpected, and worth savouring.
