As the light lingers and the city begins to hum with the promise of warmer days, Solstice returns to Commercial Bay—our annual ode to the season’s shift and the style that comes with it.
Following the success of last year’s event, Solstice has grown into a four-day celebration of fashion, music, and food. From Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st September, the precinct will transform into a vibrant hub of curated experiences, exclusive offers, and open-air entertainment—marking one of our most ambitious and immersive events to date.
Inspired by the summer solstice—when the sun reaches its peak and the world feels ripe with possibility—Solstice is a moment to reset, refresh, and revel in the joy of self-expression. It’s your invitation to lean into longer days, brighter wardrobes, and the rhythm of the city coming alive.
Adding a playful twist to the celebration, shoppers who spend $150 or more at participating Solstice retailers will receive a token to try their luck at the precinct’s Solstice claw machine. Hidden within: a chance to win a $5,000 Commercial Bay spending spree. Simply present your receipt at the concierge desk to receive your token and take your turn. The claw machine will be in place for the duration of Solstice, from 18–21 September.
Runway Shows
At the heart of Solstice are two free-to-watch runway shows, where Commercial Bay’s laneway becomes a striking open-air catwalk. Styled by fashion icon Karen Inderbitzen-Waller, the shows will spotlight new-season fashion from a mix of premium local and international brands. Adding to the atmosphere, internationally renowned twin DJs Rain and China Katayanagi will bring their signature sound to the runway, setting the tone for a night of style and celebration. Solstice kicks off on Thursday evening with the unveiling of exclusive in-store shopping offers and curated dining packages, available throughout the precinct for the full four days. As the weekend rolls in, DJs will animate the laneways while retailers and hospitality venues keep the summer feeling going with limited-time promotions and experiences designed to delight.
